No, traveling with a baby is not always easy, but when is travel seamless anyway (with OR without a baby?!) 2. Yes, you may have a rough night of sleep or two adjusting to time zones with a baby, but, wouldn’t you rather have a rough night’s sleep on the coast of Italy than a rough night’s sleep at home? 3. Babies fly free!!!! But only until they’re 2. Take advantage!!! 4. The BEST & easiest time to travel with a baby is in the first year. 5. Most places around the world are extremely baby-friendly. In Portugal, for example, every local rushed us to the front of EVERY line (from customs, to rental car lines, to stores to Starbucks) because we had a baby. 6. Sure, babies thrive on routine, but they also need to learn flexibility and adaptability, which travel is IDEAL for! 7. Not traveling with a child because they “won’t remember it” is like not reading to a child because they won’t remember the book. 8. Travel gives you unmatched quality family time together & precious memories. It’s just as good for your partner & you to have the time to disconnect as it is for your kids to be with you! 9. Babies feed off of energy. If you’re excited and calm for a big travel day, they will feed off of that! But if you’re nervous and stressed, they’ll feel that too! 10. A good travel stroller is worth its weight in gold.
