#ad Back again with Creator Labs Season 5 with @googlepixel. This time, I gladly accepted the challenge of focusing on photography instead of video. In past seasons of Ultradreamer, I’ve interviewed artists, directors, painters, designers, musicians about their experiences dealing with mental health as creative professionals. We’ve talked about themes like isolation, chaos, anxiety, & progress, and how those play a role in the creative process. For this installment, I wanted to focus on the themes of impermanence and being “all that you are”. The obstacles we experience as creatives are often impermanent, and simply stepping stones on our way toward reaching our full potential as artists or within creative endeavors. I strongly believe that great art is about intention, creativity can be nurtured into a superpower, and it’s about taking what you’ve experienced and channeling it into something greater. The Ultradreamer Portrait Series starts here, and will show past Ultradreamers in their fully realized, creative superhero forms. In episode 1, I talked with @tobilou as he discussed the struggles and sadness behind his music. In his portrait, I wanted to showcase tobi in his current form - he’s been able to shine light in the darkness of his struggles and illuminate the world with his music. In episode 1 of Ultradreamer, I discussed my goal to constantly hone in on my abilities, and showed me practicing levitating 3D objects. The 2 portraits of me find me reacting to the chaos of creative process in “Chaos”, and then harnessing that chaos in an image titled “Summit”. ✨🧪
