📷: @cmhy_plants About this cabinet: The design of my IKEA Greenhouse Cabinet was inspired by @benji_plant and @serpadesign. When I first saw the production process video of a vivarium, it really blew my mind. It is a combination between art and living plants, and I didn’t know plants could live inside a cabinet. It took me two months to learn how to build it and to find all the things I needed. The owner of my local plants shop @greenflowhk helped me with designing everything, what tools I need and how to mix the soils. I also bought the expanding foam there. I used foam from an unknown brand to create the shape and two large pieces of bark to make the background. Added sphagnum moss and moss on the wall to make it more green and to maintain humidity. It is important to add a little fan to increase the air circulation. The hygrometer was also necessary to check if the humidity levels get high enough. I have the grow light on for about 10-12 hours per day, and I made sure the light would hit the bottom area of the cabinet.
