Dick Smith would have been 100 years old today. I’m at a bit of a loss for words. I’m not alone in missing him terribly. I like to imagine how he would be living today as his best self, visiting shop after shop while people worked diligently, trying to look professional, all the while thinking, “oh my god, Dick Smith is here” He would listen intently to everything, marvel at all the advances, say “you’ve all passed me by”, give some heartfelt advice, usually about your health...I could live a hundred lifetimes and not been the man he was. I’m glad we all got to live in a world at the same time as Dick Smith. Happiest of Heavenly Birthdays.
