🌸 I made these shirts to accompany the launch of the first book I’m putting out through Planterdoos Press, my new publishing project. In the depths of winter when I am dreaming of spring and just starting my seeds in trays, I call the little green sprouts that pop up “planterdoos.” It’s a fun word that encapsulates my relationship to plants: full of wonder and hope and delight. The shirts will be for sale (along with the book, called FLORA-Z, which is flower-themed) on Wednesday at 10 AM. I thrifted, ice dyed, and screen printed them myself, using drawings my dad made.
