and that’s why i think that i’m not such a fool when i sit here and fish in mcelligot’s pool 🫧 • y’all already know what time it is: ash’s sappy show closing post!! where do i even start with seussical? i would’ve never thought i’d be writing a whole paragraph about a show as silly as seuss, but here we are! this has actually been the most fun i’ve ever had in a production and it’s all thanks to the brilliant cast and creative team who helped bring this show to life with me. you guys aren’t just insanely talented, but you’re also such genuine people and i’m so thankful for that. and you guys are SO COOL, too!!! i had a blooper reel from my callbacks i filmed for this show and when i got to “it’s possible”, i said “aw i love jojo!!” at the end of almost every take i did, so it’s safe to say it’s been such an honor to play him. i loved getting to revisit bits of my childhood through jojo and act alongside some of my favorite scene partners ever!! i just have a few things: jaden, i’m so glad we finally got to actually act together in this show and i couldn’t imagine a better person to help tell this story with me, my cat 4eva! owen and kallie, thank you for being the best parents (well...) and for always making me break onstage LOL!! tupper, thank you for letting me be passenger princess for the last month of rehearsal, you’re a lifesaver fr. rex, thank you for being such a strong leader and for your beautiful lights for this show (and the funny cue names hehehe). and evan, i already told you this, but thank you so much for your incredible vision for this show and for trusting me with my baby jojo!! i literally love everyone who was involved in this show SO MUCH, thank you guys again for making this such an incredible experience for me.
