Omg I just stumbled across this bedtime scene I wrote down 10 years ago: Anton didn’t want to go to sleep, so he made a last-dash request: “Sing a song, Mama! Sing a song!” I told him that I had already sung three songs. Next he said, “Talk somethin’, Mama! Talk somethin’!” I reminded him that I had already told him a story. Desperate and floundering, he asked, “Mama... Mama... blow a candle!!!” It was such a cute, ridiculous stretch, I couldn’t help going back in and giving him eight gazillion kisses. ❤️❤️❤️ Parenthood, what a wild, wonderful ride. Xoxo
