Curious to start hair oiling but worried that your hair will be greasy even after washing? Follow these 3 tips for a cleansed yet nourished scalp. 1. Use a lightweight hair oil. Not only is this easier to wash out, but the beneficial ingreidnets are more easily soaked into the hair and scalp rather than sitting on top of it. Another benefit, is that it won't break you out if you leave it overnight. 2. Choose the right Shampoo. I specifically formulated our shampoo and conditioner to pair with hair oiling because you can use it twice without stripping. Make sure you go section by section, specifically targeting the base of your scalp for the best results. 3. Don't skip conditioner. I know the idea of something nourishing after an oil treatment can feel overwhemling - especially for fine hair, but a small amount of conditioner is important to add strength and shine. Brittle hair breaks easier, so dont skip this step. Avoid your scalp, but use the pads of your fingers (not fingernails) to work it through your hair before rinsing.
