Welcome to the world our newest little man, Wilder Ralph 💙 Born on the 11/04/2022 at 8:05pm and weighing 2730g. There are no words to express how incredible my birth experience was. Feeling so involved, supported and being able to lift my baby up onto my chest was something that I'll cherish for the rest of my life! To my husband, thank you for being so supportive and loving every step of the way. Having you rub my shoulder and tell me how proud you were of me made the whole experience so special. The kids and I are so bloody lucky to have you! To my Obstetrician, @drandrewzuschmann thank you for listening to what was important to me and making this dream of mine a reality. I could not have done this without you and will be forever grateful! To my friends and colleagues, Crystal, Julie and @dramaniharris thank you for your constant reassurance, support and for making the whole vibe fun and lighthearted. It wouldn't have been the same without you three there. Last but not least, to my Anaesthetist Cam (who doesn't have insta) thank you for being the most kind, caring and amazing person. You chatting to me the whole time and talking me through everything will always be so special to me. Birth is not something that we do alone, it takes support from many different people. My biggest advice to anyone is to find a birth team that make you feel supported, heard and like a priority. Never settle for anything less.
