Before and After. The dining room is finally complete! I'm feeling confident that I married together antique and modern to breathe life into my formally too formal colonial dining room. The room feels airy and light. The before photos are from before we purchased the house. I had to learn the hard way that upholstered chairs don't work for me at this point in motherhood. Now that I no longer have upholstered chairs I feel confident letting my kids eat (read: spill) in here. On the final fourth wall. I added a console and bar station. The only word to describe the rocket decanters is Rad! I think square frames with a circular mat compliment the rest of the shapes in the room.
