first 24 hours being back in the city I used to call home. being finally back in over two years. you always get the first butterflies in your belly when you take the taxi from the airport into the city and the skyline starts peeking through the trees. and Zoe screaming “I’m in New York City” even though she must be so tired from all the traveling. she can finally see where her papa is from and he can show her all the little corners. he’s a real New Yorker and there is likely no better guide than him. gosh how I missed this place. no place like New York 🍏
