📷: @fuzzy_petioles About this cabinet: I knew I wanted this cabinet to be open (without shelves) after seeing some amazing inspo via this account. I like the way the plants blend into each other as I imagine they would if they were hanging from trees in the jungle (rather than from grids in a metal and glass cabinet...) There are white wire grids down the back and one side. The back one is held on by 2 hooks threaded through the handy holes on the ceiling of the cabinet. The right one is held up by super strong magnetic hooks (as are the grow light and top fan). Most of the pots are clipped on using IKEA Skädis clips, others with s-hooks. They’re hung on the grids or to other pots. Then I’ve got some swinging from the ceiling on wire hangers I made myself (experiment with bending 3mm wire - it’s fun!) I’m liking the setup more as it fills out (the plants have grown even since this photo was taken a few weeks ago). As I have to take some out for watering, the game of plant tetris to get them back in is getting tougher and tougher... I do love a challenge. I think once my new cabinet’s up (I’m waiting impatiently) I’ll devote this one to Anthurium. They love the humidity (~90%), the temp (22-27°C) and the good airflow. I sealed the cabinet (see below) so haven’t needed a humidifier. When I come into my living room this cabinet is the first thing I see.
