Actually can’t believe this is the last Steph marathon we get to watch?? 🥺🥹 Anyone else?? Rooting so hard for this woman tomorrow at @nycmarathon . If you aren’t familiar with her story, @stephrothstein (picky co-founder) is one of the most versatile distance runners of the last decade, but it’s not the titles or teams she made (or didn’t make) that stake her claim in this world. She bet on herself early on when not many others did, and has since put in the work to not just build a successful career for herself, but a better running world for others as well. From her teammates, mother runners, fans, and friends, we’re lucky to have her. A congenital heart disease is putting a precautionary early end to her pro career, and the #gritfinale tour makes its last 26.2 mile stop Sunday morning in Central Park. Join us in cheering her on into pseudo-retirement! 🙌📣
