3AM wake up call for a 5AM hike with my brother @paulj.marcottephotography to Lake Haiyaha yesterday. The water is the powder blue right now which is due to the glacial sediment that has seeped down into the water after the rockslide we had in Rocky Mountain in late June. Lake Haiyaha is an absolutely beautiful place anyway but it is cool to see it with waters reminiscent of Lake Louise in Canada. It was awesome getting to get out and shoot with Paul and his brother for a few hours and watch the sunrise. Paul and I met while shooting fireworks at Coors Field in July of 2019. We have had a wonderful friendship that has blossomed over the years and I couldn’t be more grateful!
