This song is 95% me sitting back, playing four on the floor and enjoying my life (can I just do a video of that next?) but I briefly have to play this little groove in the verses. As ever the origins of this beat come from mouse clicks on a piano roll and the reality is slightly more tricky (for me!). As with a lot of our more recent material the drums are playing alongside programmed electronics so if the performance isn’t tight it sounds TERRIBLE. No pressure.
