Queen Elizabeth II has been laid to rest alongside the Duke of Edinburgh, the Royal Family has said. Following a private ceremony in Windsor attended by her close family, the Queen was buried at the King George VI Memorial Chapel, in Windsor. Also buried in the chapel are her father, King George VI; her mother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother; and her sister, Princess Margaret. It brings to an end a day of events in her honour.
