I never felt for one second my grandmother didn’t believe in me. At times at which I felt like a black sheep, she was right there with me. A woman who encouraged big dreams, big ideas and even bigger emotions. She looked at me one day and asked me how I got this ~spunky personality~. I jokingly bowed to her and said “from you, my queen”. She winked at me and said “I know”. My best friend. My valentine. The most beautiful woman in the room.
