Jumper 1 💫 I remember when I first came back to the sport I was SO EXCITED to go to @deserthorsepark (at the time HITS- Thermal) Showing at Thermal was everything I ever wanted as a kid but was never able to get to. I remember when the barn would come back from the show- I’d ask every single barn mate to tell me everythingggg, I wanted to know every single detail so I could use my imagination and day dream as if I was there with them. I remember the girls always talking about Jumper 1 and ever since then I had my sights set on it. Childhood Megan would be so damn proud of me. Childhood Megan would be cheering so loud for me. Childhood Megan would of bulldozed me over with hugs and tears rolling down her cheeks beaming with pride. I have aloud my adulthood fears and financial worries to cloud what childhood Megan would of given anything for. If I can speak to any of you who are walking a similar path as me- no matter what- find your childhood Megan. We only have this one life to live. We are so lucky to be riding these incredible animals and let’s not take a moment of that for granted. I know we put so much pressure on these moments because we don’t know when we will get them again, I know, but let’s take away the pressure and let’s find our childlike joy and stoke again. 💫
