Rewind’s Exhibition Support Program was implemented with a clear goal in mind: to help artists (of all forms and mediums) to share their work with the public, without being burdened by the financial and technical logistics often associated with this feat. In doing so, we aim to allow all (emerging) artists, to grow their practice, audience and scene! It is for this reason that we are ecstatic to be supporting SAFE SCENES, a multidisciplinary, group exhibition which addresses ‘the idea of safe spaces for BIPOC - whether its representative of your homeland, your family or even a person, this exhibition seeks to express the value, aesthetics and emotions which draw you to a place that you have ownership of’. The exhibition opens on the 15th of September at Gorman Arts Centre, Canberra and concludes on the 20th. We hope to see some of you there!
