Kyokusen My final collection is entitled ‘Kyokusen’, meaning curves in Japanese. A womenswear collection inspired by the beauty of traditional Japanese kimonos worn by geishas and the women of the imperial court. The kimono’s straight lines are manipulated to create abstract silhouettes which are inspired by sculptural forms. This fusion creates a contemporary aesthetic using layering, knotting, wrapping and fabric manipulation. Expect to see malleable drape and structured curves layered in light and dark hues.
