Part 2 of Target Training Scout for buttons! Again I took my step by step progress from videos that @justinbieberthecat made so thank you! . Once Scout was readily pawing at the container with the treat underneath, I felt she was ready to move on to step 2. Using the same clear container, I simply placed it down without the treat underneath. When Scout paws it, the treat comes from me, so she associates the action with the reward (rather than asking for the removal of the object she’s hitting). Once she does this consistently we’ll move on to step 3! Stay tuned!! . .
