Forest ecology, beauty, power, fear, inspiration 💚 I’ve learned so much from my friends and mentors over the years... how to be efficient on steep quartzite in Waterval Boven, names of birds and plants, or how to cook a poached egg... today I come from a @protectourwinters alliance summit with renewed stoke to use science, sport and heart to inspire folks to vote on behalf of reversing climate change, renewing commitments to protecting clean water, air and the communities of people plants and animals that depend on these landscapes. . Places we love are on fire as the globe warms. Science is being done to learn which side of forest clearings welcome snow load and thus water retention. Electric Vehicles are available! And technology to make the electric grid more efficient is here and it’s time to implement it :) the POW alliance brings climbers, runners, skiers, bikers, scientists and artist together in to an outdoor state, whose voting power is greater than any other state in our nation.
