The Morgan Stanley Multicultural Innovation Lab aims to transform the investing landscape by providing resources, connections and access to investors for tech-enabled startups led by women and multicultural entrepreneurs. We work with founders and CEOs like Adaora Oramah whose company, AMAKA, is in the current EMEA Multicultural Innovation Lab (EMCIL) cohort. “As a proud Igbo Nigerian woman, I was frustrated with the underrepresentation of African women in the media landscape,” says Adaora, who is both CEO and Director of Creative Strategy at AMAKA. “There are scarce opportunities for African women to adequately profit from the content they produce, so I developed a product for this underserved market that benefits these women across the different stages of the media value chain.” Find out more about AMAKA and the Lab through the link in our bio.
