Hey Hey Hey! It’s Ya Girl Geneviève! I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself, I see a lot of new insta-cousins here! Thanks so much for the follow! I can’t wait to grow with you. 💚 Here’s a Few Things about me: My Name is Geneviève (pronounced Jen-Ah-Veeve) I am Haitian- Canadian I was Born In Montreal, Canada I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY My first language was French I do NOT speak creole, and I understand about 10% if you speak to me in creole I will most likely giggle and smile politely because- I never told you I spoke it lol. I’ve been a hair stylist for 23 years. I own a Salon Loft @theloftbygenevieve which doubles as a content and production studio. My passion for hair developed in JHS but really when I was six when my mother decided to cut all of my hair off. (Till this day I still don’t know why but ya girl was traumatized!) I’m the oldest of 5- on my momma side lol. I swam competitively from the ages 6-23. I was a NYC Lifeguard for 8 years. My favorite color is Green (and white). Traveling is a necessity in my life. I love cooking and and making sauces. I’m into anything that is creative and art related. I can paint and draw. I am musically inclined and played the violin & flute for many years and taught myself some piano. I can not roller skate however I can Iceskate my a$$ off! I’m a hopeless romantic. I deem myself to be a healer. I can not and will not do scary movies. I love high end restaurants. Family means everything to me. Friendship does too. I still have more dreams to accomplish. I want to become a philanthropist. My biggest accomplishment was opening my first salon when I was 28, 10 years ago. I am happily committed to my twin flame @thenubeing.
