This is probably my favorite night sky shot I have ever taken. I found this river about a half hour from where we were staying so I walked down this road through a forest in the black of night to go shoot at this stream. A fox ran out right on front of me before I got to the river. I shot in a couple of different spots until I thought about shooting the night sky with the river running right in front of it. There is a patch of rocks above the stream that are slightly lit up from the flashlight that I was using to make sure no wildlife was sneaking up on me so that was completely by accident. The flashlight died right after I took this photo so I had to walk back with the light from my phone. The aurora borealis was going off behind me which is why the sky was so green and the mountains of Glacier National Park could be seen off in the distance.
