Could’ve never imagined this could be my body, & that in this body I could have the amazing experiences I’ve been having. Gender euphoria for me has been living in my gender expression. But I’m reminded often of what a privilege that is. Especially in a country that is actively taking away the rights of Trans children. Parents of Trans children & medical professionals that want to provide them with gender affirming care are being punished. Conservatives try to make this about protecting children, but trans children will die because of these policies. Gender norms & expectations are taught to us from birth on. If we truly cared about children being forced or persuaded we should stop telling them how to be a boy or girl. We would stop teaching the gender binary to children. These policies & rhetoric are purely transphobic & they will use children, religion, & anything they can to justify stripping the humanity & dignity of Trans lives.
