Fadi Mohem’s sound and style are marked by contradictions that, rather than detracting from each other, culminate in a wholly unique expression that surprises and inspires. The urgency and propulsion of his sets as well as productions are belied by a deft and almost surgical attention to detail, unfolding at a confident pace instead of a feverish frenzy. Growing up in Berlin, Fadi Mohem has been a staple part of the city’s club scene with influence from classic Detroit techno, Berlin dub techno, drum ’n’ bass, and IDM.
