Such an honor to walk in Balenciaga’s 51st couture show today in Paris under the talented helm of Demna. He and his team are a talented and ferociously focused ensemble whose passion reflects in the artistry they create each season. This show was hauntingly beautiful with music paired with the one of a kind outfits. Backstage I couldn’t help but be moved by the result of words, music and images. Demna, just out of the audience’s sight line, offered each model his kind and confident eyes. Honestly, I felt that if I looked at him longer than a second or two, I would break down and cry. This has been a wonderful year and Demna, if you read this, I thank you for helping to make it so. With love and admiration ❤️
