I’ve heard many mamas talk about the slow process that is finding who they are now, as a mama. You’re an entirely different person, a new mindset, body, outlook - everything has changed. As I go through this process myself, something that’s helped me is exercise, when I can. It looks a little different these days, with my little human always in tow. @empoweredmother_ program has been phenomenal in my recovery and getting my strength back (also, keeping me sane because we all know how drastically exercise helps mental health 🧠). If you’ve followed along for a while you’ll know I started on their c-section recovery program which was amazing - from a few weeks post birth (with gentle stretching and recovering) to several months postpartum. They have so many beautiful programs (for everyone), all designed by a womens health physiotherapist and mama, and so easy to access in the most lovely app. Highly recommend to any pregnant or postpartum mamas - there’s a program for everyone no matter where you are on your journey!
