This is a tough one 😔... @therealonj Olivia Newton-John was an incredibly kind person and this is the story of how I know that to be true: In Spring of 1983 when I was 19, I was called by a casting agent asking if my large 10 yr old German shepard PASHA could be a bit player in the film SECOND CHANCE with her and Travolta... I agreed and it ended up with Olivia getting bitten by my pet. All hell broke loose on the location set on Columbus Avenue and they tried to take the dog from me... She immediately came out of her trailer and told them to leave me and my dog alone... that she should never have suddenly touched the animal without first letting him smell her hand. She was, after all, a HUGE animal advocate. It was the first day of shooting and there was alot of press and fans, both of which went bonkers over the whole thing... writing all sorts of dribble about the beautiful starlet and the handsome young man with the big dog (as pictured here from the NY POST). I was so grateful I sent a bouquet of flowers to her trailer... to which she sent me a note Thanking me and telling to take good care of Pasha.... That he was scared and that she knew how he felt....
