This scene absolutely broke me. I hadn’t cried up until this scene. Barely any dialogue, simply movements and emotions. The forehead kiss and tucking the bear into bed paired with the song? I lost it and SOBBED. This show is a masterpiece. The vulnerability of innocence, the lost of innocence, and the confusion of innocence. Jamie is merely a child with a misguided sense of judgement cause by never learning how to express emotions. His family reeling w/ the after affects of Jamie’s crimes, grappling with reality.
