Hidalgo Fragrances @hidalgofragrance is one of my most favorite indie fragrance brands. I’ve been a huge fan of a lot of their offerings since I discovered the brand in early 2020. However, I had not bought anything from them in a while, so recently I decided to pick up a couple more to add to my collection. I went for Tahitian Cafe and Orchid Verano, two scents I sampled a while back and remembered really liking them. Tahitian Cafe is an outstanding latte scent. To my nose, I pick up more spices than the coffee bean note itself, which is perfectly fine by me. It kinda reminds me of Chai Latte, with notes like cinnamon, nutmeg and clove open the scent before semi-sweet coffee scent unveils. Tahitian Cafe will be awesome when the weather gets a lot colder in a few weeks. Orchid Verano to me is a great purple flower scent with a hint of green note. It opens with vibrant and fresh citrus and floral notes, before I get to the orchid note. I absolutely love how Orchid Verano is uplifting but also sensual at the same time. This means it is perfect for both daytime and evening. In my opinion, orchid note is a more feminine floral note, however green element in Orchind Verano helps to balance things out a bit. I am absolutely happy with these two fragrances and I know I’ll be wearing them a lot throughout this upcoming fall and winter season.
