How is everyone doing? We are in the mountains and enjoying some cool weather up here. This sketch is from when I was waiting for Tinker and Tilly to return from a hike. You know when people knit? It’s sort of like that- you can carry on a conversation while you paint. It’s truly the best hobby. A couple years ago I visited a friend @grantleephillips and he showed me some of his work. I realized that the world of PleinAir is what I needed to get me back into the moment and my head out of anxious focus on uncontrollable world events. We’ve been through something strange and difficult- all of us, and I look forward to seeing you all. For now, I’ll post some music and my learning paintings on here.
