let’s talk REFEED... so this video was taken the morning after my first full refeed day on this prep. I’ve been prepping for 12 weeks and I have 4 weeks left... my body in the run upto this refeed was starting to show signs of shutting down which is a clear indication of a reset... reset of leptin levels and reboot of metabolism! My weight was stuck for over a week at 212lb, I was feeling extremely drained, fatigued and my pumps etc in the gym were lasting no longer than 10 minutes. These are all indicators for me that I need a refeed in order to go again and push even harder! The day is a REFEED, not a cheat day, which means all I was doing was increasing my complex carbs each meal, increasing my fats and near enough doubling my daily calorie intake for the day. Although having meals off plan is not a bad thing and if it helps mentally and physically, I definitely promote it for some people but for me, I don’t want to run the risk of upsetting my digestive track by putting food in, that my body has got used to not having (I’m a sensitive soul you see) 😜
Since my refeed day, my weight has started to drop 1lb a day. My strength and pumps are lasting a lot longer and I feel great throughout the day, mentally I’m more than ready to push on even harder now.. 4 weeks to shock the world 🌎 @mrolympiallc
