WESTMAN ATELIER, WESTMAN BRIDES EDIT REVIEW: This is not an ad, I was gifted these items and am giving my honest thoughts. As a lover of all things luxury, it’s very easy to be drawn to Westman Atelier. It has that less-is-more aesthetic, with heavy packaging and beautiful heart imprints in the powder. The attention to detail is bananas with this brand. So let’s talk about it! Vital Skin Foundation: I used shade Atelier 3, and found this to be a medium, buildable coverage. I had to layer on more to get my desired coverage. This is ideal for dryer skin types with less to cover than I do, IMO. Did not look cakey however, as a lot of stick foundations do. 6/10 (for my oily, acne prone skin, I’m sure a much higher score for dryer or normal skin). Face Trace Contour Stick: I LOVE this product!!!!! I used the lightest shade “biscuit” although I love the medium shade too “truffle” for a tan. Formula is smooth, slightly reflective and hydrated looking, and just the right amount of natural-looking color. It is a DREAM. Rarely does anything compare. 10/10. Bonne Brow: This pencil is SO good! Nice sharp tip let’s you feather in hair strokes, the color was perfect for me, shape is just amazing. Couldn’t recommend this pencil more. Wish they made a gel! 9/10 Eye Pods: These single eye pods are extraordinarily natural and soft, so don’t expect a Charlotte Tilbury style pop from them. When I applied the light pink shade from the “Rendez-vous” shadow trio, I could barely see it and had to layer on more and more with my finger. The deeper purple shade however did show up nicely. Again, WESTMAN is about a natural vibe, not a full beat so this is aligned with the desired look. 7/10 Eye Love You Mascara: Besides the iconic, heavy packaging, this mascara was a bit messy and hard to work with. I think the idea is that it gives you a lot of drama and volume, but my lashes are currently a little effed up because it’s time for a lash lift, so they didn’t really take well to this style of wand.
