Conversation with @jerowjpgs “I took this photo to finish off a roll. I was also testing the lighting in a spot in my apartment to see how well the natural light would work for future portraiture there. But, after developing the roll and seeing the photo, I felt it had a much more deeper personal meaning. I’m based in Monticello, Arkansas. It’s a small college town. As I know of, I’m the only film photographer where I live. Living in a small place really makes you challenge yourself to look at things differently and explore more ways to shoot.
