So @davinamccall and I did a TikTok live yesterday, and during our really important conversation about menopause and efforts in the US vs the UK, these animations started popping up on us! Flower crowns, sunglasses, bucket hats.. we had NO IDEA what was going on. But wow, did we have fun. Turns out there’s a feature called “gifts” on TikTok live that allows viewers to send you gifts while you’re live, which is what each animation was. (If you can’t tell, we’re both learning TikTok live at the same time! 😂) The best part.... I thought “This is what being on TikTok after 50 looks like, and I’m so glad I’m on here!” and we just rolled with the punches together. Embrace the mistakes and the slip ups.
