Part 2 to my last post of the gray whale that visited Vancouver. I personally love how surprised we get when these beautiful creatures come to our cities; whether it be whales, bears, or other mammals. I mean don’t get me wrong it’s magical, but shouldn’t we ask ourselves not what they are doing here, but what we ourselves are doing in their home. For instance it wasn’t until Vancouver and Victoria bettered their treatment of raw sewage that we had an influx of baleen whales in the harbour.
