So during this time away I’m realizing as a dancer and artist one of the greatest gifts is to be seen. To be allowed to experience yourself fully without limitations or expectation. Working on THE FROST SPIRIT with my long time friend and colleague @duboisakeen, founder of @Akeenbrand, and his beautiful wife @camryakeen, the costume designer, was such a fulfilling experience. IT WAS BLACK EXCELLENCE To the fullest!!! To be able to embody this magical and etherial character was quite a profound experience. As a tall black muscular man. It’s easy to be only perceived strong and powerful. This film allowed me to unveil and express those other dynamics that I carry in my body - that are my reality: tenderness, curiosity, doubt, fear, perseverance, softness, magic and mystics.
