"A Very Maine Christmas" I finished off 2018 with a spontaneous last minute photo adventure up to Newburyport, MA searching for snowy owls and to do some scenic shooting. After realizing how close I was to the Maine border I decided to take a ride up to York & Ogunquit after dark for some shooting. I had been to Nubble Light in York several times in the warmer weather but never during December with the lighthouse is completely outline in Christmas lights. It was insanely cold and windy so I worked quickly to get some long exposures before hopping back into the warmth of my car. As I was leaving I passed by this amazing lobster pot Christmas tree in front of Fox's Lobster House restaurant next to the lighthouse and hopped out to grab a few shots. Unlike other similar displays I've seen around New England, this one was composed of the old fashioned wooden pots!
