I am thrilled to share my cover illustration for Danica Roem's new book, Burn the Page! In the book, Danica talks about her life and path towards Virginia state government, where she was elected as delegate to represent the 13th district. It releases on April 26th via the Viking Books imprint of Penguin Random House. Needless to say, this was a dream project. It's been so exciting to follow Danica's work as a delegate. And her election in 2017 as the first out-and-seated trans state legislator in American history served as a beacon of hope for me during a particularly vulnerable moment. She gives me, other LGBTQIA people like me, and so many others courage and strength, and I couldn't be more grateful for it.
