I’m 43-years-old with three young kiddos and a demanding full-time job...and I am stronger and more energetic than ever. I’ve ALWAYS worked out and tried to eat clean. But I haven’t always been this fit. It’s not one tweak that magically whooshed me to where I am today: There are some focused, strategic changes that I’ve made in the last year, and I’ve never felt more confident, clear-eyed, calm and content. Seeing my abs for the first time in my life is pretty rad too, but I mean it when I say it’s so much bigger and deeper than that. ♥️ Here are a few things I’ve worked in this year that have made a huge difference... 1️⃣ I do Body & Bell on the @joinladder app led by @lauren_kanski for strength training. Even on days I don’t want to. And I challenge myself to pick up heavy weights. 2️⃣ I prioritize protein every day, aiming for 30-50g per meal. Target 1g per 1lb of your ideal body weight. For more detailed nutrition info, @drgabriellelyon is an awesome follow, as is @glucosegoddess. I also love the @carbondietcoach app by @biolayne for tracking macros. 3️⃣ I stay curious and I want to learn more. Love going down a 🐇 hole podcast on my commute.
