I met @travislinville in 2003 in his home state of Oklahoma. We started playing music together shortly after that. I've logged more miles and played more shows with Travis than with anyone else on the planet and it's been a blessing to have such a talented, knowledgeable, level headed, and kind person to run the roads and make music with all of these years. He plays guitar, dobro, harmonica, pedal steel, mandolin, banjo, piano, and probably a bunch of other instruments he hasn't told me about. He also writes soulful songs, sings beautifully, and has recorded at least 10 records of his own. He's a producer, a professor, a pilot, a festival promoter, a music scholar, a great father, an amateur magician, a sneaky good pool and basketball player, a hell of a sweet guy, and a huge enjoyer of hot water. This weekend he'll be throwing his annual festival, Illinois River Jam, in Tahlequah, OK. The band and I will be playing a set on Friday night and music will go on all weekend.
