What a week so far 💔 The second brand I ever worked for was @isseymiyakeofficial.... I was 25 and I marveled at how this creator modeled his vision combining elements of a tragic childhood (post Hiroshima) sculptural elements, textures, and Japanese traditionalism... And such a handsome, charming guy. The first time I met him, I was so surprised at his perfect English and how good-looking he was. He welcomed me and, though I left 6 months later to go to BARNEYS, I never got over him or his clothes. Rest in true peace, wonderful Issey 🙏🏻
