While everyone is embracing spiced pumpkin lattes this first day of autumn, I am not breaking out my fall color bedding just yet. I'm still loving the green trees and warm weather outside and clinging to summer with light blue and white bedding and curtains. This Pottery Barn Newton chair is perfect for reading my recently thrifted older edition Wuthering Heights book. Finding this favorite book for $1 made my Lit Major heart swoon. The chair is not too bulky and creates the perfect cozy reading nook by the window. I'll be showing off the other side of this bedroom soon! I recently purchased a new-to-me 1960s mid century Kent Coffey tall boy and dresser to compliment this West Elm King bed. (Most mid century bedroom sets seem to come with only full or queen bed frames.) I recently painted this floral triptych piece over my bed by repurposing clearance Kirkland's wood art. I liked an Anthroplolgie piece titled, "Floral Triptych Wall Art" for $1900. It was too big, but mostly it was too 1900 dollars. So, I painted a pretty good knock off, if I say so myself. #potterybarn #westelm #midcenturystyle #midmod #neutralstyle #neutraldoneright #neutralbedroom #homedecor #bedroomdecor #bedroominspo #midcenturymodern #homeinspo #blueandwhite #thriftstorefinds #bedroomideas #bedroomdesign #readingnook #art #neutralhome #howwedwell #home #currentdesignsituation #potterybarnoutlet_pa #serenaandlily #targethome #apartmenttherapy #bedding #diyhomedecor #homestyle
