It’s not often I share about the highs and lows in running a business. I know you guys would probably get it — that it’s more hours that people often anticipate when they ‘work for themselves’ but then somewhere along the line we convinced ourselves that we get flexibility instead and that’s the compromise and we become okay with working too many hours. I am grateful for every single like minded business owner I’ve met on my journey so far. If it wasn’t for that tribe of women (you know who you are) I don’t think any of our businesses would have sustained the ebbs and flows. I feel like I have a complete and utter respect for veteran business owners that are 10+ years in managing their own companies, staff, navigating changes, operations, processes and all of the other parts to the role that has you wearing 300 hats a week. I’ve learnt a lot, and it’s not been pretty all the time. It’s been really heavy if I’m honest and transparent and I want to be open because sometimes it’s easier to say it’s hard but move on but when I write I feel I can really convey that the journey is full of a lot. If I could support and mentor people one day half as good as some of the veterans that have continued to support and guide me I’d be one incredibly proud woman. For every obstacle, I know now that those moments are the pivots in business - the ones that make you uncomfortable after the stepping stones to new things, sometimes situations you have to see differently, sometimes adaptions and sometimes just life trying to show you something you weren’t seeing clearly. Oh and cheers to 3 years of @twenty6_marketing and @26talentagency ❤️❤️ #businessbday
