Dr. Reverend William H. Greason United States Marine Corps, 1943-46, 1950-51 Battle of Iwo Jima 34th Marine Company Depot Holidays, 2021 Q: “What does Christmas mean to you?” A: “Every Christmas, we buy food for people, we go about 30 or 40 boxes of food- hams and turkeys, and all of that. I try to teach our people about giving to those who were not as fortunate as we are.” Q: “it’s been a tough year for everyone, including military folks. Do you have advice for people this year?” A: “Well, one thing you can do, is you can thank God you're still alive. I never thought I would've been in two wars and never had a scratch. He has blessed me to still be around, and to have the movement of my limbs. I've been tremendously blessed. “And this too- my parents taught me, ‘Be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger, and real quick to forgive.’"
