i wrote a (baby!) book!!!!! I started the Too Smart For This podcast four years ago in my St. Louis apartment, and the name was born out of the realization that I was spending so much of my precious brain space worried about the wrong things. instead of using my intellect and curiosity to better myself and my community, I was constantly criticizing myself and feeding into negativity. you all know that friend of yours, who is brilliant and beautiful, but is constantly falling into the wrong types of relationships and selling herself short. It’s normal - women have not been taught that it’s okay for us to be our full selves, and my goal with this journal is to help unlock self-love that exists within every one of you. We celebrated with the cutest candle making event at @ucity_corkandcandles making Too Smart For This Candles & appreciating the brilliance that friends see in one another. I hope that with this journal, we can all see the greatness within ourselves too! it’s been almost a year of working on this project and it will finally be in your hands on March 4, 2025!
