After a show of fins and flukes smacking the water, a single humpback suddenly sprang through the surface to get a good look at our boat. She arced against the sky, enjoying a few seconds of weightlessness before crashing back through the waves to rejoin her kin. Ever since I first became a photographer, I’ve been chasing my love for ocean life across the world; always in search of the stories that will connect a global audience to the heart of our most vulnerable ecosystems. My journey has shaped who I am today and I’m so grateful to share it with such an incredible community of advocates and artists. And to all my fellow photographers out there, happy world photography day!
