mindset shifts that healed my relationship with food....
đź«¶ My body is in fact a temple. Mindful eating is a form a self respect & self care. What you choose to fuel your body with is a reflection of how much you love & care for yourself.
🫶 Food is not the enemy. It is not a debate of “good” or “bad”. Yes, some foods have more nutrients than others, but each serve a different purpose.
đź«¶ Eating from a place of love & not from a place of hate, punishment or guilt. Food is meant to be enjoyed. Period.
đź«¶ I can have it whenever I want. Sweet treats and indulgent meals are not just for special occasions and they do not have to be earned. I can have it today, tomorrow, and the next day if I so choose. I eat because I want it, not out of obligation or with a scarcity mindset.
🫶 Health and wellness does not have a deadline & I don’t always need to lose 5 lbs for the trip/event/occasion. I make choices because I want to live a healthy life, not be healthy to look a certain way or for an era. Weight can fluctuate but my mindset doesn’t.
